Da Prato's mission is to create a restaurant both inviting and elegant, operating at the glowing intersection of romance and precision.
Both the culinary offering and hospitality style is an activation of the cookery and warmth of the Province of Lucca, Italy.
Much like Elisa's favorite restaurants in and around Lucca, Da prato is a place to enjoy your table, take your time with family and friends, and enjoy some downright fabulous food.
Our model is built to emphasize group dining, family dinners, as well as intimate tables.
We will also be offering cooking classes, special guest chef collaborative events, and other one-off nights. Check out our Special Events Section for more. We are here for your private parties with buyout plans. We'd love to host your special dinner and cultivate magical moments for you and yours.

Elisa Da Prato is 1st generation Italian-American chef whose work centers around joyful incarnations of the cookery of the areas of Lucca, revisited through a botanical lens and highly driven by cosmic and metaphysical systems. Her dishes draw from Ancient Roman poetry and texts, mythology, folklore, fermentation & preservation, pasta, family, and honey.
You may remember her work from Elisa Barga, in Barga Italy, Etrusca in New York City, her dinner series in Brooklyn or one of the many private events or pop-ups she has cooked along the way.
Hospitaly for Da Prato is about valuing human time and experience. Care, compassion, and passion all work hand-in-hand to bring our guests a wonderful dinner.
Elisa grew up between El Paso, Texas and Barga, Italy. She comes from a long line of painters, carpenters, and cooks.
